Here’s why:
No matter what you think of Kim Kardashian’s life choices, we all should have the right to safely exit our relationships. Especially when 50% of marriages end up in divorce. Divorce is not a dirty word! Kanye has been using social media to aggressively harass Kim Kardashian with respect to their divorce. We need to educate about how to safely enter and exit marriage and advocate for laws that enable both partners to gracefully exit all with dignity intact.
In case you missed Trevor Noah’s broadcast, he did a thoughtful segment posing a vitally important question: if Kim Kardashian can not escape being harassed, what about all the women without her wealth and celebrity status? Thank you Trevor Noah for sharing your personal experience with childhood abuse that led you to ask why “women are questioned for what is happening to them as opposed to people questioning what is happening to them.”
