Fashion & Web3
Visible Women NFT curates fashion panel at Hamptons Tech Week, July 20, 2022
As promised, for those who could not attend in person, here’s the update on Hamptons Tech Week. It was the first ever Hamptons Tech Week and event sponsors James Lane Post and Ethereal Consulting did an excellent job curating interesting and informative web3 panels in the beautiful garden at the Southampton Arts Center. We will be excited to attend and (hope to) participate again next year!! There is so much potential for this event to grow into a summer must for the web3 curious😎.
Visible Women was offered the opportunity to curate a fashion & web3 panel with the help of community friend Julie Lamb, who not only moderated our panel but did a fabulous job as host extraordinare of the event!! We put together a panel of fashionistas, led by retail and fashion industry veteran, Andrea Abrams. Andrea is the founder of Web3 organization and incubator Phygicode, Chief of Strategy at Faith Tribe DAO, Board Advisor at fashion blockchain Lukso, and lead investor at wearable NFT marketplace The Dematerialised. We were also joined by fashion & web3, art advisor & creator, Anna Vitalia Usova. “Fashion is an expression of identity or belonging or cultures or even status…same thing with NFTs,” said Krzysztof Gagacki, a crypto entrepreneur and co-founder of reBASE, who is working on the NFT collection called CY-B3LLA with supermodel Bella Hadid. This panel conversation piqued our interested in curating more content exploring the compelling connections between the web3 and fashion community.
