Let's meet Enid Zentelis
🔨 What project are you working on that you are most excited about?
I am developing a scripted series based on my podcast about my grandmother for Kinetic Content/Red Arrow Studios. The series is one of the most impactful things I have worked on. I discovered a whole other part of my grandmother’s life -she worked with British SOE to fight fascists during WWII. She was never able to tell this story in her lifetime because the communist regime took place of a fascist regime in her country of Hungary. Her true and complete story was constantly a danger to her and her family. Women are also completely erased from history. In my podcast and in my series I want to tie the present to the past in a new way led by women.
👀What makes you feel visible?
When people respond to my work- films, writing and podcasts- I feel most seen and connected to the world.
🌈 If you could connect with one woman, who would that be and what would you say?
Toss up between Elena Ferrante and Phoebe Waller-Bridge. Both please.
🌱What piece of advice would you give your younger self?
Write even more.
